If a brother in arms is mortally wounded and has his name changed due to security,how do you find him?

The friend was a captain and commando.I have a need to know since i wish to be in his honour guard when he passes away.He was Canadian Armed Forces,so canadian answers only please.His last regiment was 3rd PPCLI.

Well pappy,you speak of honour or revenge.I dont think you know the differance,being a dissenter which implies that this comment is way out of line.Do you distrust everyone?

I know the US military has many sites where you can register or just search for fellow service members and sites where you can list someone you are searching for and hopefully the person you are looking for or someone that knows him sees the posting and contacts can start from there.

I would try a Internet search with the last platoon/unit/command sometime or military organization title and try from there.

Having served on maneuvers as a U.S. Navy man with 2PP, I'm familiar with Canadian Forces. 3PPCLI is headquartered at Edmonton Garrison and I think they would be providing any honor guard. You might want to make inquires through the office of the Colonel-In-Charge to determine if you can participate.

I think your username says more than you realize. Since you give no personal details you could be seeking revenge, not honor. Put your pers. info out there on front street if you are honestly seeking him for the right reasons. Let him contact you!
