I got married at a SC courthouse on a Saturday afternoon over 33 years ago. Why don't you call and ask?

No, the courthouses are only open during normal business hours. You may want to look into having a Justice of the Peace perform the ceremony at your home.

No, you go get the paperwork during business hours, and your officiant will sign it.

If you want to get married at the courthouse you have to do it during the week.

Call the place you want to get married at, and find out. Easy! Usually there are some Saturdays when such places are open.

Some places do have Saturdays open, like 9-3pm. Google your city and see what their website says...congrats!!

You can make an appointment with a Civil Court judge. Hubby and I did that, and got married on Christmas Eve. Yes, he had to come in on his day off, but you pay for it anyway.

You can hire a Justice of the Peace to do a ceremony on a weekend. They can do however short or long ceremony you need and wherever you want it.
