First, God is not man - He is Spirit. So your first question is mute. Now, the other questions: Ignore us when we need Him most? 1.Absolutely NOT! God is with us at every moment - somethings the things the we chose to are not His desire, and we may suffer the consequence of our actions.
2. God shows us His love all the time. Most of the time, we are too busy doing our thing and miss the moment He chooses to tell us about His love. His love is never ending, cannot be erased nor are we forgotten - just stop and listen to Him - He'll tell you how much He loves you.
3. We may see things in our lives as unreasonable demands, but mostly those things are from our own doing or just living in a fallen world where there is sin.
4. Rules - yes, they are called the Ten Commandments. If you read the Old Testament, you'll see that there there are rules given for the food they ate - they were to keep people healthy. When Jesus came, he said that the old rules didn't necessarily apply (such as the food rules) but the Ten Commandments will stand the rest of time as we know it.
If you have not read the Bible, and want to know more, I suggest that you start in the Gospel of John in the New Testament. From that point, I would suggest reading the rest of the Gospels, the rest of the New Testament, and then tackle the Old Testament. There are always reasons for God telling His People to do whatever, and in the Old Testament, the doing and the rules make difficult reading and understanding. I hope this helps!

1.Does he ignore you when you need him most?
No things happen to you for a reason so when u think u need him most you really don't and it is a test of your personal strength.
2.Does he say he loves you but doesn't know how to show it?
He show it everyday....his choice to give you life...shows he loves you..the fact that anything happens to you at all is him showing it
3.Does he make unreasonable demands of you?
Yes he does but do u think it should be easy to gain a key into his heart with no work....would u allow some one into your home that has no respect for your authority in your own home?
4.Does he want you to follow rules but he can do whatever he wants??He can do what ever but what he does is pure....he could do anything but he chooses to wake you up everyday...and give life to others
i could go on and on...............also
and for others god is nether man or woman

The little 'g' god will ignor you, condemn you, make unreasonable demnads, does destructive works, etc... This would be the god of this age who the world turns to when they reject the God who created us. The god of this age is the King over children of disobedience (rebellious children).
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil & that we could have life & have life more abundantly. He has delivered us who believe in Him, Jesus Christ the Son of God, out of the bondage of darkness & into the Light of Christ. Saved us from the sterotypical man god.
Jesus Christ is Lord. We can pray to Him 24/7 through the Holy Spirit that we are sealed with when born of His Spirit. He hears us when no one else does. He loves us & he shows us. If we doubt, then we grieve the Holy Spirit until we repent & thank God for loving us & never leaving or forsakeing us. He asks us to do & it is never unreasonable if one remembers what He did for us. Those who love God, obey God. God wants us to trust & obey God. And then God can't go against His own Word/Promises. God is a God of Integrity.

God is not a stereotypical anything. In fact, we have no idea at all of what God is or even if God exists. And since God is not human, we cannot judge him by human standards. That is just wishful thinking on our parts. But it sure seems to work for lots of people.

First of all, its hard for me to take your question seriously (and I don't care how many thumbs down) when you can't even address Him with enough respect to capitalize His name. You should either be ashamed of yourself for your sarcasm, or you are just really really ignorant and need to be in church. If I'm to take you seriously, you know nothing about God, and you cannot be helped the way you need it here. You need to go to church and get educated. Gods time is not our time, that's why he teaches patience. And He shows you he loves you every day by allowing you to breathe the air that He created.

Only if we assume God is a man. Might God not be without gender and sex? Might not God be beyond comprehension and understanding? What about faith?
But, your list is funny and if we take God as man and as Judeo-Christians might characterize Him, then yes, he seems to be lacking in the relationship department.
Of course, anyone who sees God as feminine or without gender is free from this worry...I think...

Are you sitting in the air conditioning in a free country able to express your biased views?
Do you have a warm bed to sleep in at night because you live in a Christian country.
Look at all the countries who are not Christian and ask yourself........HMMMMM, is there anything to this Christian God or are we all just lucky that live in Christian countries.
Thank God you don't live in Sudan!!!
Do you feel this wonderful sensation toward anyone at all called LOVE?
Is He making you type this question in R&S right now?
He never makes you do anything, and there are many, many, things God cannot do......
1. God cannot lie. Titus,1:6
2. God cannot change. Malachi 3:6
3. God cannot let any of us into
Heaven unless we have been born again. John 3:3,5

I believe what you are doing here is commiting the sin of taking Gods name in vain. God is God and you are one of His creations. Don't forget it. You expect your dog to learn and mind you don't you. You love your dog but you are the boss and even though maybe your dog doesn't understand what you are doing a lot of the time, you know what you are doing and so does God know what He is doing (and what you are doing). Does that make things a little more clear.

It's so funny that you say that, because most people view God and relate Him to the typical men in their life. Maybe you should work on your relationship with your father and finding peace with men before deciding who or what God is.
