I'm Catholic and enjoy listening to Joel, reading his daily messages, and reading his books.
I just wanted to hear some Catholics voice their opinions about him.
And does the Catholic Church have any motivational speakers like him?

I love Joel Osteen and use him as a supplement to my faith.
There are many motivational speakers. Check out EWTN TV.

no offense, but I think he only preaches what people want to hear, when he was on Larry King & Larry King asked him about his beliefs of Jesus
he did not say much about it & kind of beat around the bush, how could a true Christian do such a thing ? I like Pastors who tell it like it is from the word ( the bible ) & if people don't like it then it is
probably their conscience that is getting the best of them & that's why they feel convicted.
I like Pastor Jentzen Franklin , he tells it like it is !

all preachers have a different forte
i like joel and i like a more scholarly biblical approach too
added together it all comes to one great message
catholics to me seem to pray to the virgin mary more than anything
she was not a god

I'm not Catholic(some of my friends and co-workers are)but I have never heard Osteen
preach the gospel.

If anything proves Osteen to be a false prophet, it's that the catholic cult likes him too.
