There may be something to home remedies, but to really get to the source of the problem it is far wiser to see a dermatologist. He or she can best assess your particular problem and recommend the best course of action.

Put a dab of regular toothpaste (not whitening or anything like that) on the zit overnight. It will be way smaller in the morning.

I use neutrogena bar soap to wash, followed by clearisil cream on problem areas. A dab of clearisil will help dry out/ reduce redness by tomorrow. Don't pick or sqeeze, that only makes it worse!

Your Dr. can prescribe hormones to stabalize the complexion problems. Changing hormones are the #1 cause longterm.

I used baking soda all summer and it cleared me up good... Baking soda, then liquid hand soap, and moisturizer...
