Um...yeah. We eat pigs, don't we?
We eat pork chops, pork rips, spare ribs, beef ribs, fried chicken, chicken legs, buffallo wings, ground beef, hamburgers, cheese? Yeah. I don't see why not. Why can't I eat a baby kangaroo?

We're not under any particular dietary restrictions, and could therefore dine on wallaby steaks if we chose to. But that begs the question, who'd want to?

The only Christians who might not be able to enjoy a kangaroo burger are those who adhere to the Old Testament dietary laws, and there are a few denominations that do that. Then again, I'm not an Old Testament scholar, and am unsure if marsupials (or monotremes, such as the platypus) are expressly forbidden or not.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the platypus is a marsupial - it doesn't have that whole pouch thing going on.

But yeah, I've known some Christians that have eaten kangaroo meat, and as far as I know they never were chastised for it, or told they were wrong.

I refer you to 2 Epicurians, verses 17-19:

"Consumeth not that which liveth its youthful days enclosed in a pouch, or a bag, or an athenander. Eat thee not of any creature that layeth eggs that is not a bird nor a reptile nor a fish of the oceans. These are the words of Megnoth, given unto him by the LORD."

I had Jack in the Box burgers at the time they were found to be part kangaroo. Didn't bother me none, and I kept right on eating them.
