I am a christian, but my mom is Catholic, and so is everyone in my family as most Latin American and Latins are.( am am 1/2 African American, 1/2 Hispanic) My mom left me her rosary of pearls when she died, but I am afraid to take it because I am afraid that somoene will accuse me of being disrespectful to Catholic faith. What should I do?
(And where can i find a rosary for my little cousin?)

They are prayer symbols and aids, they aren't the strict perview of the Roman Catholic Church. Take them, your mother wanted you to have something that was beautiful to her and important in her eyes. If anyone asks, tell them the story, and tell them of your mother. The love in your voice will communicate the love of her action to anyone who would think to question it.

If your mom left it for you, you should keep it in her memory. More beneficial would be to start praying the Rosary daily. Here are the fifteen promises of Our Blessed Mother to those who faithfully pray the daily Rosary:

You could buy a Rosary online, at a Catholic store or at a Roman Catholic church after Mass.

First, a Catholic is Christian. Second, there is no reason to think you'd be disrespecting Catholicism by taking and keeping the item she left to you. It was obviously her wish you have them, whether you use them or not, and I think you should honor that. Hang them on a wall, put them in a shadow-display box, wrap them in fabric and keep them in a nice box, whatever, but I'd take them as a signal of love from your mother and not worry about the religious/dogmatic ramifications...I'm sure God wouldn't either!
I'm not Catholic, but I've made rosaries, and I have one hanging in my house because I like the idea of what it symbolizes: faith and devotion, love and sacrifice, hope and prayer.

You are aware that your mom was Christian too, right? That Catholics are a subset of the greater set we call "Christians"?
Anyway, I'm Catholic (and Christian) and I don't see anything wrong with taking your mom's rosary to remember her by.
And you could find rosaries all over the internet to buy.

Catholics are Christian, you know. By saying "I am a christian, but my mom is Catholic" you are being far more disrespectful to Catholics than anything you can do to that rosary.
As for the rosary, just store it in a nice jewelry box. Eventually you can give it to a loved one who is Catholic.

Give the rosary to someone who will use it - like your little cousin.
Better yet, come back to the Catholic Church and use it. That's what your mother would want.
