What are some of the theological and practical differences between several of the denominations of Christianity?

I suggest you make your question more concrete or break it down a little, i.e.: What are the differences between Catholicism and Protestantism ? etc.

It runs the gamount from truly believing what the Bible says to throwing it out like yesterday's garbage. From refusing to accept any man-made pagan belief to taking them all in and slapping a Christian name on them. From relying on voluntary contributions in private to "Pass The Loot" Club on syndicated TV begging for money every five minutes.

Everything in between. The question you should be asking though is, "Am I worshiping in the way God approves?" That is the only thing that counts. It is not worship anyway you chose that is important.

There are more than 1500 (!!!!) different "Christian" denominations in the US alone. Many of them are at least as different from each other as most "Christians" think they are from Jews. Looked at this way, each of them is very much in the minority!
