My FWB was on vacation for a few day fishing/camping. Shortly after heading home & got phone signal again, he began texting me. He later asked me to stop over (for some benefits), which I gladly did. When I jokingly asked him if he missed me even a little, he responded "Its good to be home". We all know camping is not always the most comfortable, but in your opinion does it sound like he may have actually missed me? I'm not assuming so or going to question him on it. Just curious what others think.

For those of you suggesting I want more...I don't and I hope he doesn't either. We are FWB for a reason! Specifically said only wanted opinions, not you judgement. It works for us!!!

Don't look too far into it. He probably is just happy to be back from camping. Sure, it was fun, but returning home is (almost) always fun, too.

I think you should stop asking questions just for the sake of filling the silence. Is it ever enough just for a man to be near you and enjoying your company? But that seems so uncomplicated doesn't it? You know another question men love to hear? "What are you thinking?" Yeah..............we can't answer that one right either. Why do you want to know?? You said you asked him jokingly. I think you must have been serious or you wouldn't be asking strangers about it.

Aren't you the hopeful little ho?

Sounds like someone wants more than just benefits!

Don't worry, you're no more than a sperm receptacle to him and YOU let it happen. It's too late for anything more. Try some self-esteem next time.

Hehe. He comes out of the wilderness, gets his nut, then goes on his way. Great benefit.... for HIM!

His answer sounds pretty vague, but honestly, I think he didn't enjoy the campout as much as the sex. Try letting him go it alone for a few days and see if he misses "that" or just you. That's one was to see if the friendship is just about sex or about being friends. If he's using you for sex, then that's all you have, a sex partner, not a "true" friend.

You're just a piece of ***. If he'd care even a little he would have said he misses you.
