That is the whole point of the story of Adam and Eve. They were one with nature before eating the fruit. Humanity has eaten the fruit of knowledge between good and evil and therefore must now care for its soul. Wild animals do not suffer from insanity but humans do; or, at least for humans, it is a problem that is consciously recognized. We yearn for meaning.

If I was Eve- and I had not taken a bite of that forbidden fruit that God told me not to eat of, I would not have been bored- because I would have walked perfectly face to face with my Creator. I would have started to go insane only after eating the "apple" because then God did not walk closely to me, due to my sin- praise God for His forgiveness or I would still be bored in life no matter where we live- because life can get to be a daily grind sometimes- and without Christ it would be hopeless.

Are you kidding.......I love gardening. I would never be bored there...
"Kiss of the sun for pardon.
Song of the birds for mirth.
You're closer to God's heart in a garden
Than any place else on earth."...Dorothy Frances Gurney

There's little risk in becoming overly proud of one's garden because gardening by its very nature is humbling. It has a way of keeping you on your knees."...Joanne R. Barwick, in Readers Digest (1993

God created us, He knows what will satisfy our desires. He knows that for us to be truly happy, we must be using our faculties, which are intellect and will. The only way we could use them forever is to know and choose (or love) Him. So He grants us access to heaven, which is total union with Him. Adam And Eve walked and talked with God in the garden and knew and loved Him. They were in total bliss and would I be. It would take me forever.

Well if it were the Olive Garden of Eden then we could have all the salad, pasta and bread sticks we could eat. Who could go insane with that kind of setup?
