If it makes you feel better to think that everything is here by design and with a precise meaning, then don't let anyone dissuade you from your belief.
Personally, I always think about the countless things that do not follow a logical design, and wonder why the unquestioning faithful do not see the inconsistency.
No, in answer to your question, it doesn't move me. Will it still move YOU when an asteroid plows into our planet and causes the next ice age?

Uh sorry you guys didn't get the memo from like 2000 years ago, but the earth is not the center of the universe. I watched "The Universe" on the History Channel and they were talking about the life and death of stars and yet somehow they didn't mention God once. And the graphics were much better than that silly propaganda piece of tripe you have linked up to.
