Why? Perhaps the problem is that you feel this desperate need to have a boyfriend. As a result, men are either turned off by your desperation/clinginess or take advantage of you.
I know that when I was single, when I became comfortable with myself and was comfortable being single I was happy. I was also more successful at making lasting friendships and relationships because people were attracted to the fact that I was independent and happy.
