I am not very physically attracted to skinny guys or overly tall guys meaning 6 ft 1 + and rarley date them am i shallow? I am thin at 5ft5-6 and 106 pounds(female runner) so i guess i am a bit of a hypocrite for not liking skinny guys.I prefer more guys of a more average weight or a little on the stout/sturdy about 5ft9-10-11 range .In particular big boned(thicker bone structure),broard shoulders, big back, bit of a booty to pinch or grab lol, athletic type of build like a ex.footbally player or baseball player ect.,and who maintains his body by working out.I like feeling protected and having a bit of a teddy bear in comparason to my body with the guys i date.Shallow or paticular?

Shallow.

Sorry, but you're judging people by how they look. That's the exact definition of Shallow.

If those are your preferences in what you are looking for in a man, then it shouldn't matter to the rest of us. Of course you do have to compromise a little in some of your requirements if you find a guy who is attractive on the inside. Like, "Is it OK if he is a little taller or shorter than 5'9?". Is it OK if he has an average build and not athletic but has everything else?

If you have way too many strict requirements on what you are looking for in a man, then you might be a little shallow.

It does sound as if you are shallow. CAN'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. However, on the other side of the coin if the presentation of the product is not appealing why would you buy it. Being in several relationships it does take knowing the person before just turning off to them. You might find a Bill Gates!!

No just means you have a prefrence. If you would not date a skinny guy that you liked and made you happy because he was skinny that would make you shallow. But having a prefrence is not that bad

You know, I guess we all look at the way someone looks in some way or another, but in the long run, looks really doesn't matter...as long as someone is healthy. Life is just to short to worry about that, after all, we all get old and by that time, what would you like to do...have someone to look at because of their looks, or someone you can talk to.
Just my opinion

You prefer what you prefer...most people have preferences, even if they aren't written in stone.

Example, I typically find blue eyes and dark hair the most attractive combination, but that doesn't mean I won't date guys that don't have those things. In fact, I'm not sure I've dated any dark haired blue eyed guys. ☺

particular because you know what you like.

However if you meet an amazing guy who clicks with you very well and he doesnt have any of the physical traits you are looking for and you dont like him because of it, then I would say you were being shallow.

It's okay to like what you like. I used to date only extremely handsome, very tall guys. Then I met one who was only 5'7" and average looking. Guess what? Not only is very bright, funny, protective, sexual, and successful - he's marrying me...!

Sometimes, you meet a guy who isn't all that you thought you wanted or expected, they are actually more. Just keep an open mind, you might be pleasantly surprised!

I dont think you are shallow because you wouldnt just not even give a guy a chance because he was thin or tall. I think you just have your own type of guy that you are attracted to, there's nothing wrong with that

I'd say you're just particular. It's not like you're talking smack about the other guys. Besides, we all have different things that we find attractive in the opposite sex.
