Who are more gullible: Atheists or believers?

I'm a pretty gullible guy (atheist), but as for ridiculous claims, I will need some sort of evidence to back it up.

Why does there have to be a contest for this? If a Christian believes in God...let them. No skin off your nose. If an Atheist doesn't belive in God..let them..no skin off your nose. What I would like to know is why are there so many Atheist's that feel the need to keep asking questions about Christians? They seem almost obsessed with them. Who cares what Christians believe if you're an Atheist. So, to answer the question...each is gullible...we are human.

I think atheists. Do they really believe if everyone in the world did not believe in a higher power and morals could only be decided by each individual that people would treat others properly.

Think about it, if there are no consequences of afterlife punishment, why would anyone not steal or harm another if they knew they could get away with it.

Just look at North Korea or former Soviet Union. Humans meant nothing to the government. What can constrain humans if all moral constraints are removed. Is it the government? What constrains the government.

The fact is, governments have killed more people then all the terrorists, outlaws, and criminals combined.

Well... atheists do not find that there are any compelling reasons to believe in the existence of invisible, magical sky fairies (gods).

Believers, on the other hand, believe that a cosmic Jewish zombie, who is his own father, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced, by a talking snake with legs, to eat from a magical tree... (etc.)...

ALSO, they in things like...

*  a universe in which all that exists are the earth and heaven
*  solid 'firmament' structure (the sky) separating the earth from heaven (terrarium earth)
*  talking snakes (with legs) and donkeys
*  shepherd staff turning into an asp
*  demons chased out of people and into pigs
* woman turning into a pillar of salt
*  friendly spirits
*  evil spirits
*  walking on water
*  multiplying loaves and fishes
*  food falling from the sky
*  conception by a child-molesting ghost
*  people raising from the dead
*  the sun stopping in its tracks
*  parting the sea
*  people being bodily sucked up into heaven (which, by the way, lies on the 'other side' of the sky)
*  world-wide flood that drowned the earth to a depth of 40 feet above the tallest mountain
*  creating people from dust bunnies and ribs
*  magical tree of knowledge
*  god speaking from a burning bush
*  ritual cannibalism, by eating god in the form of a cracker

I think that makes believers just a wee bit more gullible... and I find it to be exceedingly strange that they think that there is something horribly wrong with those who DON'T believe all of this ridiculous codswallop.

There are believers who try to pray away pneumonia, there are atheists who believe aliens built the pyramids. Stupid takes all forms.

Believers are gullible. Atheist based our believes on proof and evidence. While believers based their believes on "faith" with absolutely not proof.
