How do I convert picture files from .mix to .jpeg?

I use the program Microsoft Photodraw to have fun with images, but when I save them, only .mix files are the extensions. How can I change the files to another format that can be used in different ways? Is there a program I can use to convert these files into .jpeg or another format?

Click "File", "Save as", and you should be able to change the format to .jpg, but once you do you will "fix" the changes you made (layers etc will not be able to be separated). Failing that try another picture prog. "Save as" etc.
