I am considered overweight, but not obese. I have an underactive thyroid which has caused me to gain weight. I take medicine for it, but the medicine has not helped me to lose any weight.

im not exactly sure how overweight one should be to be categorized as obese...but i am about 16 pounds over my doctors recommended weight for a person my age and height...but im working on it...

Yes, and it makes my self esteem really low, i weigh 207 pounds and adding to that more pounds ever month. its real depressing.
