i totally agree with you! the second i feel like i relationship is not going to work out i want out of there NOW NOW NOW. i can't see wasting my time with someone that doesn't fit my needs, you're wasting chances to meet people who are!

that said, a lot of people just plain settle. they're afraid of being alone and would rather have someone who is just meh than no one at all. i dont get it, but that's how it is.

I dont think that anyone should be in a relationship if they do not feel that the person they are with is the one. There is someone out there for everyone, so dont be afraid of being alone. Spend time with your family and friends if loneliness is the case. But if you dont want to be single, then there are many places to find some one you are atleast attracted to...date for a little while until you feel that its the right person. There are chat rooms, clubs, events... You can meet people any where. Just dont iscolate yourself, because then you will really be alone. ----in your current situation, one of you...if not both will get hurt in the end.

I think it's only better if you're not looking for "the one". Then you can go out with different people and have fun. Hopefully 'the one' will only come around once in life. You have to be with people for a little while before you can tell if they are or not. Good luck.

Companionship.... maybe two people get along well with each other and there is potential.

I think people have a right to enjoy each other WITHOUT constantly looking for "the one". I think it will come in time. And in the meantime, everyone else is an experience waiting to happen.

Wow, I don't think anyone should ever say it's better then to be alone. Who say bieng alone is a bad thing?
Anyway, unless it's your business you shouldn't really say.

you should not be together if you don't see him as the one. you should go out and find that special someone instead of wasting time being miserable.
