I've never been able to figure out why if sky-dude was able to create every species of animal and plant *poof* in like two days back in the earlier bit of the book, why does he need Noah and his clan to take them all on a boat for 40+ days?
Even if he wanted some continuity with the humans, for some reason, couldn't he have just poofed a bunch more animals into existence at the end? Apparently he did it for the plants - unless for some reason all those crop species were able to survive underwater for 40 days. Why didn't Noah have to take wheat and barley and grapes and olives and watermelons and oak trees on the Ark?
Man, the more you look at that story, the more holes there are in the plot. It's worse than a Michael Bay film.

I makes me snicker while human beings question the boat, noah, the animals, and so on.. using fact If God had Noah build a boat, till he replaced into Dr. Doolittle he could of needed a ton of help to get all the animals 2 by potential of two, and if God ought to area the crimson Sea and heal the ill and restore a existence then easily he ought to hold all the animals to Noah to load the boat. the place theres a will theres a manner and in the event that they lived interior the nice and cozy desolate tract there are actually not any fleas to extremely difficulty approximately as there are in southern climates or wet climates like Calif. the place they thrive the main. I lived interior the desolate tract and we did no longer might desire to difficulty approximately fleas in any respect

A pair of unclean and seven pair of clean. The extra clean pairs were food for Noah and the crew. Gen.20 - 21 thus proving Noah knew clean from unclean long before Exodus and Leviticus.
Thumbs down is a cop out. Read the book.

The "rib thing" would only work for animals with ribs. What about the slugs and protozoa and stuff Noah collected?

You aren't reading the bible carefully. There are 2 version of the Noah story. In one version he takes one pair of each animal. In another he takes one pair of each "unclean" animal and 7 pairs of each "clean" animal. The two contradictory versions are mixed together.
By the time of Noah, God had apparently given up on the whole creation thing...he just gave instructions and Noah carried them out. He did not give Noah any miraculous god-like powers.
If you take your suggestion to its logical conclusion, God should not have bothered to save any of the living things. He should have just redone the animals part of creation.

God didn't tell Noah to take two of every animal.
You really need to read the Bible yourself for once instead of depending on others to tell you what's there.

All boys love to play with boats, and there is nothing better than filling one to capacity to see what happens.
