yes but i think getting a tattoo anywhere is going to hurt. i only have one and i did get it on my lower back. it hurts but it's not unbearable. actually after a couple of minutes it just gets kinda numb and it really doesn't hurt as much. good spot to get a tatto though for a girl

A tattoo anywhere hurts. But your lower back isn't too bad...its more of an annoying pain that you just want to go away...that they keep going over. Hope this helps.

yes it hurts. i have three: lower back, ribs and lower stomach. My lower back tattoo hurt the most to me. but it was not unbearable. When my artist got to my spine that was the worst part. if you really want it go for it. pain is temporary ink is forever.

that would all depend on your pain tolerance. mine didn't hurt too much back there but i'm addicted to the sound of the tattoo gun and the intense feeling I get while I'm being tattooed.

Everyones tolerance for pain is different. I have several tattoos. The one that was most uncomfortable for me is above my hip in the curve of my belly. I would describe the feeling akin to the pins and needles one feels when your foot falls asleep. Just relax and breathe through it.

it depends on your tolerance level. anytime you get a tat on bone, it's not going to be a walk in the park. but it is so worth it

Yes... if its in the center you will feel more on your spine/tailbone. Its a weird drilling feeling.

yes it does....when i got mine i didn't know it was going to hurt that bad. it hurt worst than the one on my leg.
