so vile, hateful, and profanity ridden? Surely, Children of Christ should demonstrate a more peaceful approach to debate.
Would Jesus tell me to go f*** myself if I said something with which he disagreed? I think not.

If you are recieving e-mails from those who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, that speak in this manner...you are correct...they are so-called Christians...There are genuine Christians on this forum who do defend the Gospel of Christ and do not resort to using profanity or sending hate mail to those who disagree with them. You may be offended at times with Christian belief as well as those who teach and defend it...however any antagonistic feeling that you may feel toward a Christian, hopefully is directed at their persistent convictions rather than to a display of obvious anti Christ behavior.
The Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, also claim to be representative of Christendom. Their fruit, stands in testament against them...They are not of God.

My religious studies teacher said that Christians are always the rudest and most mean spirited people in his class. I guess people are always coming to his office and trying to "save" him. He said he waits for the day when a christian says, I don't agree with you but that's okay. Lets go get a beer. haha
He had a great sense of humor. They are not required to take the class. Doesn't make any sense.
There is also this guy on myspace who is about discrediting the Mormon church. He posted some of hate mail in his blog and it was unbelievable. People were saying the most vile things about him.

i haven't gained hate mail, yet I easily have at the instant began to get carry of what I regard as unsolicited mail from Christian fundamentalists, asking me to "repent", and so on. I in many cases make confident their e mail addresses discover their way into different "venues", like paid commercial websites, credit card mailing lists, penis growth websites, and so on. i think it extremely is the least i can do for them.

LOL! All the hate messages I've gotten have been from Christians. I thought they were tolerant but I was wrong. They are full of curse words and insults. I think they can come up with something better than calling me "ignorant" though. haha
I did get a hate message from an Atheist once who was pissed because he didn't get best answer! LMAO

How about multiple emails with various scriptures copied and pasted over and over. Or the wonderful one I got yesterday pertaining to my unborn child being a demon child of hate.

Gosh, I could send you some atheist vitriol, if you don't think we are doing are part. Do you see this as a hate gap? should we engage in an arms race of sorts?

They're frustrated because they view their religion as an extension of themself. This allows them to use it as a weapon, but also causes them to feel offended whenever anyone challenges it...
