I can feel your pain L-mouth! I'd rather be in a 18 FT "skiff" on the flat's than on a cruise ship!

No, they don't have trolling from the "main ship" , but I would check with a travel agent & see if they have "side-trip's" at various port's of call.

Cool "Factoid": When I was living in Jax. FLA I had some friends in the Navy and they would ,( with permission from El Captaino), troll behind their Carrier. They would hook into giant Tuna, Mahi & Swords and (if they got them in!), share the rewards with as much of the crew as they could. I guess the Pilot's always managed to get the best fillet's! (lol)

First you would have to use special core lead line. Two the cruise boat will not help you if you hook a 300 pound blue marlin. Since the cruise ports go from port to port, you can't fish bottom and they cruise too fast to troll.

no fishing off of the boat. but you should go anyway. You will have alot of fun.

compromise.

When you are in port in Mexico or the Bahamas or wherever, hire a guide and go fishing for half a day.
