I think we should abolish ALL religion and learn to see one another as vulnerable human beings who are just trying to make it through. We should dare to love others for what they are and not because Someone 'up there' says we should and might be watching. Let's all agree that religion isn't the way and move on spiritually - together.

I like this approach.
Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.
Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray and pray without ceasing through your devotions. REMEMBER, THE LORD GOD is ALMIGHTY AND ALL POWERFUL AND ALL WITH WISDOM that HE does not need the help of any man to change the world for the better. Thus, that is the only way that we can surely change the world for the better. Do not attempt to say my wisdom tells me this and this or according to the philosophers these are the right principles. These are foolish and twisted wisdom of men. Thus, no man can not shed his intellect or display the capacity of his intellect without the power of THE HOLY SPIRIT-that is the truth. Moreover, when we pray with our hearts, THE LORD GOD will hear us because THE FATHER, LORD GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT as ONE GOD, IS A MERCIFUL GOD with unfathomable mercy AND with an unlimited love as A LOVING GOD. And that THE LORD GOD is thirsty for the love of men. So, we always pray-I BELIEVE, I ADORE, I HOPE AND I LOVE YOU-THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. These are one of the sweetest prayers to THE LORD GOD WHO IS LOVE-AN INFINITE LOVE.

Honestly, we would need to go back and correct what Abraham Lincoln did wrong, we would need to send all blacks back to Africa.. they would be a lot more happier!
From the beggining they always demanded that the white man send them back and set them free, so now is the time! This would solve a LOT of problems domestically, AND worldwide..
Second, we would need to convince nations that they don't need nuclear weapons, although this is nearly an impossible task, its worth trying..
third, all europeans in america would need to go back to europe, you guys are destroying the earth with all your global warming causing inventions that have their biggest concentrations in america!
you guys never listened to the native Americans about this, and now your all paying for it.. so lastly, i would say that America totally be given back to the native americans, and everyone else should leave, except for a few asians..

Uh, I don't see how anything you mentioned is going to help at all.
Yes, it could be changed for the better, there are people right now who are doing there best to do just that.
Joining them would help.
Pushing for genuine education would also be a plus.

Be the best person you know how to be ... approach each person with respect and a sense of basic human dignity - even if they do not allow this for themselves.
Teach your children these things.

First of all, we need to get along. We need to be tolerant of each other and respect one another. If the world is anything similar to R&S we are in trouble.

1) One thing would be to eradicate all organized religion, as it has killed more people than any other force, body, or idea. (ORGANIZED, not including personal spirituality, just the power structure)
2) start caring...
