If your combined taxable income is $56,800 or less, then yes, your income tax bracket will drop to 15%. You might want to go to your payroll dept and adjust your W-4 in that case.

Check your numbers - being in the 25% tax bracket does NOT mean that they are withholding 25% of each paycheck for federal income taxes - they aren't. And nothing will change unless you change your W-4. If you change it from single/1 allowance to married/1, the amount they withhold will probably decrease a little.

When you actually file your return, if you file a joint return, then your total tax would be a little less than it would have if you had stayed single and had the same income.

But by the way, if your current gross is around $30,000, you are ALREADY in the 15% bracket, not 25%. Brackets are based on TAXABLE income, not gross. And the taxable income limit last year for a single person was $30,650 to still be in the 15% bracket, and your taxable income was about $8450 less than your gross income assuming you are not a dependent, $5150 less if you were, so with an income of $30K you are nowhere near the 25% bracket even using your numbers, which are a couple years out of date - they usually increase a little each year. This means though that you won't likely have lower taxes after you get married.
