Children should be taught the truth of the bible from infancy
Part of that learning process is putting faith in God.
And learning the 10 commandments they will realize that God wants us to worship only him...not santa, the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, etc.
And that one of those commands is not to lie....yet the parents teach paganism to their children and allow the lie. There is no easter bunny or santa...no angel on valentines day....
Teach them about God and you will save both them and yourself......teach them lies and other gods will only pass on death.

Let me guess, you watched the Tim Allen movie? It's spelled Santa Claus. The E was added in the movie as a play on words , as in a clause in a contract. Now that we've established you don't know what you're talking about...
It's not lying, it's bringing fantasy and enjoyment to Children when their imaginations are most vivid. It's not wrong to let your children believe in the extraordinary whilst they are young. They have the rest of their lives to cope with reality and the stresses of day to day life. Why not let them enjoy it the few years they get? You cannot rationalize with a 3 year old, so why not let them believe something that makes them happy? I highly doubt they will remain naive to the truth about Santa all their lives. If you're worried about your children missing the true point about Christmas, you could emphasize what it is truly about, and why not make up some mythology that joins the two events? If you're really just going to celebrate it as the birth of Christ, you really shouldn't be giving into the commercialism of the holiday AT ALL. "Oh Noes! No presents?" You can't have it both ways and truly be devout.

What "True Light"?
Please define what you mean by "True Light" and indicate any real evidence, other than rantings of old zealots, that support its existence.
I always find it funny when Christians blast Santa Claus, who is a fictional person that is loosely based on a real person, but totally buy into Jesus, who is a fictional person that is, at best, loosely based on a real person. Ironic.

Aren't you just comparing one fairy tale to another? Why would you want to brainwash your kids?

Hey isn't "Christmas" a "Christian" thing. So who are you trying to put the blame on?
