Unless there is some...ahem..."understanding" between you two, then the expectation of being faithful should be MUTUAL.

For the same reason dear, that men expect their women to be faithful to them. It's about trust, love, sustaining a relationship throughout life, if that is what one so chooses. If married, its about wedding vows and the committment to love, honor cherish and remain faithful to that person.

If your "expectations" are not in this vein, then you accept it, realize it and don't get involved in a committed relationship, through marriage or otherwise. You stay single with plenty of short term liasions to make you satisfied.

Like it or not, our world seems to be happiest when we're coupled...don't know why that is per se, but it does seem the trend of life starting out, and the norm for procreation as well.

Personally, you can't force another to love you or stay faithful to you - unless you're willing to do the same.

Clearly, this isn't your gig...or worth your time. Yet for many of us, it WORKS and is SUCCESSFUL. Whatever spins your wheels dear...just don't waste anyone's time who is looking for a faithful, long term relationship and is willing to give 100% to it. Be up front and honest...in other words, move on to the next if that is what gives you your so-called version of happiness.

With a question like that you have no right dating women. Have fun with your one night stands and STDs but in the long run you'll end up unhappy. If you had a girl that meant something to you (other than her vagina) you wouldn't want her runnin around on you would you?
