Yes. The world today sounds suspiciously like the way the world is described in scripture before the end.

Amen! Our Lord is definately coming back and the gospel of Grace and of the Kingdom is reaching so many on the earth. The Church in China has been underground for decades and is very strong. Some of the most spiritual brothers have been in China.. Brothers like Watchman Nee and Witness Lee are both from there and were instrumental in establlishing the church there.
Hudson Taylor was another brother who laboured there.
The gospel going to Europe and the church being a testimony in countries where they were not in many years is also evident of the Lord's return
But moreso sister.. the preparation of the Bride is the most crucial of all. The Lord's return is not just the turning of the Age of Grace to the Age of the Kingdom but with it will be the marriage of the Lamb to His Church the Bride.
Even if the world situation is just right.. the Lord cannot come back until we have made ourselves ready through having Christ as our Life and Living:)
Where we match Him in Life and nature through our daily growth and maturity in the Christian life
Together we are built to be this Bride. Just as Eve was built out of the side of Adam.. the Church is built together and joined, framed and grows with the growth of God...
Hallelujah.. more of us are seeing this glorious fact and are giving ourselves to be built up with other believers so that the Lord can come back!

Don't be deceived. It is right what one of your answers says. It will come as a thief in the night. It will be rapture when Jesus comes but as a christian we should be living quiet lives, getting on walking in love. There is too much emphasis on grandeur. This is of the devil. Don't be deceived. As the guy says just make sure your heart is right with the Lord. It's all about forgiveness and being acceptable before God through Jesus Christ, not signs and wonders.

I think that the end has been beginning eversince Christ died and rose again and went ot heaven.
The thought of the rapture does frighten and excite me. For example it could happen as soon as you finish reading this. It could be anytime.
Did you know that there is a book that was written in the mid. 1900's that was about how the rapture will happen in 1989?

The Bible does not mention "the rapture". The closest it comes is when it mentions in Revelation that Christ will gather his people, something along those lines. But yes, I think we could be very close to the end. Do I live like it? No.

Yes. The Rapture is the catching up of the body of Christ (believers) to meet Jesus in the air. We'll be returning with Him also to put a stop to Armageddon before man annihilates himself.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Sure, we are looking at signs everday, but please don't be one of those people thinking it will be all nice and easy, that Christ will just rapture you away before the going gets tough. The bible never tells us that the "rapture" or "taking away", will be before the tribulation. If anything, it makes it pretty clear it will happen at the end of the tribulaton, right before the final wrath.

No it is nothing more than an overreaction to this so called end of world. People have been claiming that the rapture is coming in 1899 and nothing, same for 1999 and nothing. Each time I hear the rapture is coming I brush it off like dust. The only way for me to actually believe it is if I see four horses flying in the sky with four guys riding on them while defying gravity and all know laws of physics

Instead of the Rapture may be it should be called the Rupture because I give myself a hernia laughing whenever I hear these 'end of the world' predictions.

i believe that scripture teaches in one million Corinthians 15 and in one million Thessalonians 4 a actual resurrection for the two the ineffective in Christ and his people who're nonetheless alive at his coming. THis has grow to be be attentive to because of the fact the rapture. it is the desire upon which my lifestyles relies. lots scripture in the hot testomony factors us forward to that destiny journey and tells us a thank you to stay our lifestyles with that expectation. with regard to the timing of that journey in appreciate to the tribulation, I truthfully have finished lots learn and function exchange my wondering. there have been many verses that jointly ultimately confident me that our being raised will take place at His performing after the large tribulation. I appreciate people who see in any different case, yet to me, it required twisted good judgment or unscriptural instruments to get out of the sparkling coaching of Revelation 20:4 that exhibits that the 1st resurrection will incorporate people who went in direction of the large tribulation.
