She hates the idea of driving, but in her dream, she is driving a brand new yellow car and waving by to every one.
she has told me this dream several times now. and just last night she said she had the uncontrollable urge to hug the kids.
I have it in here because i hang out in here and would like to hear your opinions.

I'm excited. Contrary to your thoughts, your wife is not about to die, NO. She is about mastering her greatest fear in Life. And poeple will be applauding. She was the one driving the yellow car, that is why its not death. By all means, let her hug the kids, thats what you would do after a very succesful conquest.
Tell her to take on her most challenging initiative, Its her breakthrough season.

Cars symbolize movement & change. She's in control, because she's driving. The brand new yellow car is a brand new intellectual pursuit- like her mind is opening to new and bright ideas about life, and what she wants out of hers. It's actually a really positive dream because she's waving good-bye to old ideas- old notions, old feelings, old attachments, etc.,- and is going forward in her life.
Maybe she's depressed which would be why she'd take this as a morbid dream that signifies her own death. It doesn't. It signifies the death of parts of her old self- like she's outgrowing them and is opening her eyes to new things.

Sounds like her brain is trying to work out her fear of driving in the first place. The fact she is doing something she normally hates and enjoying it strikes me as a dream about control - or a need for control in her own life.

I think her feelings as this is happening might have a lot to do with the dream. What is she feeling? Is it a disturbing feeling?has she had the dream more than once? Maybe she is dwelling too much on this dream. Is that possible? I think sometimes we put too much into dreams. maybe it was something she ate, something she watched on t.v. that subconsciously got into her dream, or something that she observered during that day, or heard. maybe something has been on her mind and transformed in her dream. OR, maybe there is something else to it.... it is hard to say. What was she feeling during the dream, I feel that is important.

I think that all this dream was, was a nightmare. I don't think it means anything.
And we all get urges to hug people that we love.
No offence, but I think that your over exagerating this just a little bit.

if you are superstitious...maybe you will consider a temporary 'house arrest' for her, NEVER allow her to drive under any circumstances & always call home whenever u r away.
if you are not, do the opposite...
