My girlfriend and I are going on a date and since I'm paying, is it okay if I'm the only one that eats? I am somewhat fat and I want her to watch me eat so she can see if I'm a keeper or not. But I don't like seeing other people eat in front of me. Is it okay if I ask her to eat at home and not at the restaurant?

You got it backwards. If you are already fat and wants her to figure out if you are a keeper, you should let her eat, and tell her that you are working on getting a hot bod and thus will settle for the carrots. If you don't like to see other people eat in front of you you might want to consider a different venue since there tend to be a lot of people in restaurants eating in front of you.

That is a horrible thing to do! If you are going out on a date with your girlfriend, no matter WHO is paying..you both have the right to eat. If one person doesn't eat, neither of you should eat. It's not fair and it's not respectful. If you don't want to pay for both of you to eat, then yes you should invite her to your house to eat. You need to get over not seeing people eat in front of you, if that is a problem. C'mon

if your self esteem is that low then you need to talk to her and tell her that you dont like eating in front of ppl. just be honest with her and tell her the truth. It usually works out and If you really like her you should tell her that. Well why would you take her to a restaurant too if you dont want her to eat? Then there is no point in doin that. If she likes you too she wouldnt care how you eat and thats not a way to determine whether your a keeper or not. The actions and the way you behave determines whether you a keeper.

Dude if you're taking her to a restaurant WHAT ELSE SHOULD SHE BE DOING? She has to eat, that's the lest curteous thing i've ever heard. If you don't like watching people eat then you shouldn't be going out to dinner. Also she isn't going to decide if you are a keeper based on how you eat, show her a good time and let go a little.

If your taking her on a date it is only Honorable that the man pays for the meal.
If you were to say or ask her not to eat anything, it would do 1 of 2 things -

1. She would dump you as you have shown your not a Honorable gentleman and thinks of her.

2. She would think that you are calling her fat and dump you for it.

Either way if you play the date wrong you may lose her.

What? That makes no sense! Don't take her to a restaurant if you're not gonna let her eat! That is so rude! Either pay for to eat or go to a museum or a movie or an amusement park or something.

Why don't you like to watch people eat?

NO!!! You don't take someone on a date to a restraurant and then ask them not to eat! I doubt she'd be your girlfriend for much longer after that!! Are you serious? If you don't like seeing other people eat in front of you then you need to stick to dates like the movies, where if they do eat, it's dark and you can't see them! It sounds like you might have a lot of other issues than just being overweight!

That is the weirdest thing I have heard of in a while now. If you don't want to eat in front of her, don't go to a restaurant. Nobody wants to stare at someone eat at a table while looking like an idiot staring at you chew. That's crazy!

LMAO. This, by far is the funniest thing I have ever read. Thats like saying you are taking her to the movies and asking her to sit out in the lobby while you see the show. Thats like taking a car ride and making her run along side. Thats like taking her to a restaurant and asking her not to eat. Oh wait, that is what you are asking.
