depends on the drivers age, male or female, where they live, their driving record, their credit score
the make, model, year of the car
the type of insurance and through which insurance carrier - full coverage, fire/theft only, PLPD

I am a 50 female - no tickets, safe city,, great credit
daily driver is a Grand Marquis- through AAA
I pay less than $ 800 a year

My 1970 Superbee is through a classic car insurance company - I pay $ 650 a year

my Grand National is through the same classic car place- $850 per year ( its considered an exotic car)

Gap insurance usually only pay up to 25% of the actual cash value of the vehicle at the time it was stolen. For example if your cas was value at $10 and you owe $12 the gap insurance will protect you for $12.50. Now since you were not listed on the policy there might be some problems depending on the company (if they are flexible) so good luck.

$83 a month, which is totally irrelevant to your situation. The only person that can accurately tell you how much your insurance will cost is an insurance agent or insurance company representative.
