Have a good chat with with Lord, ask for help and give thanks for the many blessings I enjoy every day, most of which I sometimes take for granted.
EDIT: Re your request for verses, one of my favorite bible verses are from Isaiah.
Isaiah 40:31: "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Isaiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

The apostle Paul, in the following passage, promised Christians that they could dispel worry by fixing their minds on good things, not on their own worries. It is one of the classic Bible passages on worry, one that people should engrave on their hearts.
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Philippians 4:6-8
I pray, 1 Thesalonians 5:17. I praise Him, Psalm148:1, I listen to the counsel of other Christians, who are following God's word. And finally I release and give my problems to God, . When I take them back again, as I usually always do, I repeat the above. He has never let me down.

I pray and ask for prayer. Read the Bible. I think of how many people are worse off than myself.
For verses I read Isiah 41 and Psalms.
I hope you are not discouraged but if you are I hope you feel better soon and will say a prayer for you anyway.

When ever Iam discouraged I pray or listen to gospel songs. One day I was feeling very low and down then just when I was saying our LORD's prayer the moment I did uttered 'Our FATHER' the feeling just overtook me that really HE is our FATHER actually I can't express those feelings in words.

I just remember all the wonderful things the Lord has done in my life, and that He has promised me eternal life through His Son. I then realize that this world is only temporary and that He has my entire life in His capable hands.
2 Corinthians 4:8-10
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

Psalm 37. Fret not the evildoers. God encourages us to follow Him, to do good. He loves you and has a good plan for you. In the end, it will all turn out because Jesus went to prepare a place for you. He will return and take you to be with Him. Try to have an eternal perspective of life. These things are passing away, this world is passing away. His kingdom is forever.
Whatever circumstance is getting you down, try and remember that God works all things for good and all you go through in this life is grooming you for His eternal kingdom. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the words of God will never pass away. Read Psalms, praise God and trust Him for the future.

When I am depressed I praise him. I thank him for what he has done for me. When I change my focus and thus my attitude He lifts my mood.
You can also say the things God says about you:
You are the Apple of His eye.
You are more than a conqueror.
You are a priest/priestess.
You are a child of the most high God.
You are the head and not the tail.
See what I mean?

Fear not for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by name and thou art mine.......from Isaiah
What applies to me may be different from what will apply to you. Being as I do not know your situation, and God does, I recommend picking up your Bible, and praying for God to show you something you need to know........I have often done this, even if I don't find the answer right away, I get my mind off of my troubles and I do learn something!

When I'm discouraged, I'll surround myself with the people who remind me that God loves me and has a plan for my life even though I don't understand why I have to go through all the crap that I'm enduring. I'll also spend time in The Word, talking to God and listening to worship music-- that is pretty much therapy for me. Just continue to seek Him and pray that He gives you wisdom and faith.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
~Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)~
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."
~James 1:2-3 (New International Version)~
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. "
~Proverbs 3:5-6 (New International Version)~
