For motivation, I think mornings are better
Anything can happen throughout the day to make you tired or kill your mood.
Like the other lady said (in a way) a little exercise is better then no exercise.
Other than that I starred your question to get some ideas too,
thanks:)

Look at your self in the mirror and if you have fat or flabby bits then that should be enough Motivation
but if it is not then think if you get little or no exercise that you can get diabetes and all it`s complications,
Or you need to be buying larger clothes each year and want to save money on clothes
Motivation to exercise is a personal thing that you must really want to do for you,Once you loose weight and get fitter you will only want to achieve more and more that's the motivation to keep going
When to exercise is up to your life style morning or evening put it is good to walk or exercise after each meal if possible
The hardest part is getting started

Hi... In the first place, what makes you want to exercise? There is definitely a reason, right? For example, you want to exercise because you want to stay slim and fit. Then, keep reminding yourself of it. Write a note an put it up somewhere in the house that you will see once a while. It may help to keep you reminded when you get off-tracked. Or even get someone to support your goal so he/she can also help to remind you or maybe exercise with you.
Personally, I prefer to exercise in the morning as the sun shines on the trees and they give release oxygen that you'll inhale. Also because I feel fresh the entire day. =) Also, exercising with a friend is much more fun and enjoyable than doing it alone.

I exercise whenever I can fit it into my schedule. The routine thing works for some people but not for me. I get burned out too easily. I mostly walk on the treadmill at this point but each time I do, I always feel better afterwards, even though I'm sweaty. I tell myself, get on the treadmill and give it at least 15 minutes. If I'm still dreading it at that point, I go ahead and get off but at least I've done 15 minutes. If I do feel good after that 15 minutes, then I think to myself, I'm halfway done and on my way to 30 minutes! Best of luck!

In the morning when your fresh is best. Also just keep remebering why you are exercising, you want to lose weight, you want to stay healthy, and think about how happy you'll be when you reach your goal through exercising.

I'm currently using the treadmill. I stay motivated by allowing myself to indulge in my one vice in life (Watching All My Children) ONLY while on the treadmill. I tape it daily and can only watch it if I am on the treadmill. Since I want to see it, I get on the machine.
And it is every weekday at 7:00pm sharp.

1. I imagine myself not looking like a Goodyear Blimp, lol.
2. My job is shift work, so it depends on when I work. If I work day shift, I go to the gym after work at 3pm; if it's evenings, I go before work, around 1pm; if I'm on graveyards, I go after work, around 7am. Probably not healthy to screw with my exercise schedule like that, but meh, that's life.
