If someone is about to kill you, you have the right to protect yourself. Basically there is no reason for someone to kill another. It is a terrible thing killing someone. You take away what they had and what they ever will have. Can you plz pick me for best answer.

No sane person really wants to kill any one.
Should a person kill? Not even to protect
themselves, their properties nor to preserve the lives of others.
But would I adhere to that doctrine when placed in a life or death situation involving
defense of self or others? Who really knows
until that actually occurs?
I mean I could say that I would choose to kill
or be killed. That means nothing now. It's just mere words and speculations.
But to choose a side; I would probably more likely than not decide to protect my own life and the lives of others than to let a murderer go free so that he/she would
remain on the loose to murder/kill again.
Because, aside from being suicidal, no one's really ready to die. Especially by getting killed at the hands of another.

The bible says there is a time to kill, I am not saying murder, I am saying killing, Ecclesiastes 3:3 A time to kill & a time to heal------ Now to answer you, yes I would kill(not murder) but kill someone in a time of war, or in protecting my family & myself. I have enough guns in my house to protect my family & my state I live in in the United States, One of the laws is a person has the right to kill an intruder that is threathing my family, Yes, I will first give a warning shot, but shot number 2 will not be a warning.

I would kill to protect someone and I would die to save someone else. I would never intentionally kill anyone for any other reason.

I don't have the heart to kill, I just couldn't live with it, and because I don't have what it takes to kill myself...well I would end up in a hole wouldn't I?
My friend asked me once, if you had a chance to kill Hitler, before he ever did the horrible things he did, would you? I gave a two part answer. No because the Bible says "thou shall not kill", and no because I just don't have the heart to watch anyone die.

I have never actually had to make this decision, but am confident that I would if I had to. If someone was an imminent threat to someone I care about, yes I would. But I would also intervene in an armed robbery, etc, if I felt I could do so without risking the lives of bystanders. I possess several means to back this up, and would.

I am:
Pro-capital punishment - particularly for people who hurt or kill children. For them I'd gladly throw the switch myself.
Pro-gun ownership - and would have no problem shooting to kill to protect myself or my family if in grave danger.
A Christian, and dont think God has a problem with the above beliefs I have.
