i really fancy this guy who works at starbucks.
iv been going once or twice a week since march, and i honestly beleives he fancies me.
the thing is, things are going so slowly, im unsure weather he has lost interest.
he always smiles, and bites his lip around me, and aska about me when he doesnt wit other customers, but in 5 months he still hasnt asked me out.
he keeps bringing me free drinks etc. but i think he would have made it clearer. . wouldnt he?

He may like you, but trying to be professional-- after all he is working, and may have an ****** boss. Slip him a note w/ your number. You could also add your messenger name. Some people are very shy, or worried about fraternizing with clients/customers/co-workers.
Give him a note, and wait a couple days....if you see him let him acknowledge the note. If after a week he still hasn't don't anything, he's just being very polite...for no apparent reason. (???)

More than likely he's unsure about how you feel about him. Many guys, myself included, don't like to do things without KNOWING that a girl likes them back because we don't want to 1) scare them away 2) lose a friend 3) embarrass themselves.
I thinks its time you give him a hint so he can get some courage. Something small, something innocent, like tell him that you would really love to see a movie but have no one to go with, or that you know of this restaurant that you wanted to try but no one sounds interested in going. Help yourself by helping him!

The girl is allowed to take the initiative and ask the guy out. You should just see if he wants to hang out sometime, or go to a diner or cafe something simple so you guys can talk outside the context of him working.

He is in a tough spot in that you could laugh in his face and end his job. Slip him a note and tell him how you feel. Tell him you would like to have coffee somewhere else , You may want to set a time and place. It doesnt have to be long or get his phone number. Remember you dont know him and must use caution.

Why do women always think guys have to do the first move??
Talk to the guy, ask him if he wants to hang out. Don't make this a starbucks thing. And for your question no it hasn't been to long.

No, not really, most people believe that is inappropriate to " put a move on a customer, patient, etc", give him your phone number on your way out and see if he calls you. If he doesn't call, you'll have to go get your coffee elsewhere.

you have liked him for 5 months as well and you haven't made and advances toward him. He could be thinking the same way you are and just thinks you aren't into him. good luck:)
