Now I'm no super stud, nor am I a virgin, but I don't ever recall really asking a woman to have sex.
My experience is when the moment feels right, ya make a move, and carry it out if they want, or back off if they don't. This, I guess could be non-spoken consent, but I wanna know who has actually asked "Do you wanna have sex?", or similar phrase as your 'first time'with that person.

I'd get the consent form in a written and not a verbal contract. People can always renege on an oral contract by stating that what they said was not true. If you have it in writing and they have signed the consent form, then it's valid and they can't go back on their word. Works good in any court of law and bed room ethics

I can't remember with any certainly if I've ever been asked the first time I had sex with someone, or not...

I would consider it odd as the body language asking is more appealing..."Do you want to have sex?" takes all the passion/heat out and pretty much makes it a sterile, emotionless encounter.

My first time no, I didn't ask and neither did he, we kind of just went for it. I've been asked, but I don't ever remember asking anyone to have sex, I guess it's like you said unspoken consent.

When it's been awhile between me and my husband I'll ask something on those lines but never have I said that 2 anyone else. Ur right, it's just an unspoken thing when people decide 2 have sex.

consent is exactly what you said. unspoken. who the hell ASKS for sex. someone desperate i guess. but seriously, if she is in her right mind and has sex with you then it was consentual. if she says no and fights you or if shes drunk or under another influence then it's not.

I have been asked (and consented!), but to tell you the truth, most of it has been done -- as you say -- through non-verbal communication.
