I would tell you my testimony but you are to stubborn to hear anything not from your idol so let your idol speak truth to you that you might at last find love.

John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

1John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

1John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

1John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Yes Map you are correct. To love is to know God no matter what face you paint on him. I apologize to the non-Christians for the scriptures they aren’t intended for you, they’re for the people that call themselves Children of God but do not honor Love (which is God) J

What exactly is your question?

2007-08-08 05:48:53 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 2

Nice try, Gnostic. But the Bible Bangers will never face their own repudiation of the New Covenant, and the Athieists won't get it.

And hardly any one will read the entire question.

Still, we have to try. And keep the Fundies from trashing the Bill of Rights until their message of Hate is the only one out there.

They use to kill teachers of truth, now they use the words of the many to try and do the same. In the far east I understand truth is honoured. Here stuck on the words they forget the meaning, to busy to look within they follow the herd and get covered in ****. The purity that lies at the center of being is some times hard to see but some will listen.

(((Gnostic)))

You are a beautiful being of light. Thank you for sharing the words inspired by my Source in a such a unique way, with such clear intent to try to get others to understand what you are saying. But they are blind and cannot see; they are lost and cannot be found; they are limited by their own vision and struggle on a broken path.

Excuse me, but "how dare you quote scripture?" You DARE to do it magnificently. God Blessed you with His light to choose the passages that would most touch those who should have opened up to listen and hear with their ears and their souls.

Numbers 31

-paraphrased-

The Israelites destroy a gentile city and capture hundreds of thousands of women and children. The are then directed by God to kill all the mothers and young boys, and keep the virgins for themselves.

That is your God, in action, not just in words as you listed above.

Gnostic, as you can readily see, the Bibleans have NO idea what you're talking about. The bible is for hating NOT for loving, as far as they're concerned. The REST of us heard the message of love more than 2,000 years ago and have been living that message. The bibleans are drowning us out, but we ARE still here, loving every single day. (((Gnostic)))

I have a problem with you calling "brother" those who hate the message. If you seek those who have the potential of being brother (those who do the will of God) then you should hold the pure concept of them embracing love. They may be attacking your contradictions.

How powerfully you wield your sword, Or rather the sword of our brothers to bring home the careful vision that truth is often buried in all the bull**** (must be the word of the day, coyote)

providing balance, my friend; As we cosmics always seem to come in toward the bottom, Must be that 'buried under the BS mechanism, live in 3D again.

Dear Gnostic,
Having read the many hate filled and judgemental answers above, another Christian verse comes to mind :
"Cast not your pearls before swine, lest they turn again and rend you."

First of all ... please stop calling me "brother" and second... where is your question? How about getting down from your box and speaking in ordinary English for a change... If you have a message - and apparently it is that love is a big deal - then put it forward in clearer terms, please. All of your flower smelling language is beginning to maker this place the rival to a fat lady convention where the stink of mixed perfumes are overwhelming.
