Which would you say is better? I had Miracle at the office for the last few weeks, but when it ran out, I went and got Hellmans... I find that it tastes so much better. Your opinion...

Because a sandwhich, just isn't a sandwhich, without the tangy zip of Mircle whip.
It's not a ******* salad dressing retards

Who the **** puts mircle whip on a salad.....

Like no body, at least no body that I know, Opens the fridge to get some salad dressing and goes.. hmm, miracle whip, yumm, I think I'll have that instead of my usual creamy ranch, or ceaser, or italian, etc.
And the question is referring to making a sandwhich... not a salad.
Do people just answer these question without really thinking about what it's asking? I'd say yes, cause most of the people here have done so....

I grew up on Miracle Whip so I love it. My husband only likes real mayo. I don't think it has any taste compared to MW. So we have 2 jars in the fridge and I make 2 different batches of things. One for him, one for me! :)

Bring out the Hellman's and bring out the best. I'm not a fan of Miracle Whip and yes, it is a type of salad dressing. If you buy a knock off of Hellman's it will say mayonnaise on the jar...if you buy a knock-off of Miracle Whip it is called Salad Dressing. Its the same thing, just b/c its not the salad dressing you're used to, doesn't mean that Miracle Whip isn't salad dressing.

Well, really they're two different things.
Miracle Whip is a "salad dressing", while Hellman's is "real mayonnaise".
At my house we buy Hellman's because if we want a "tangy dressing" I make it myself. But then, when it comes down to it, I also make my own "real mayonnaise" if I want it for anything fancier than a sandwich....
Hellman's is great for sandwiches, etc.
Miracle Whip is full of preservatives, salt, and "stuff" but it's great if you don't have the time to make real food.

Soooo, to answer your question, Hellman's is the better of the two, but home-made is always best.

I don't think Miracle Whip is mayonnaise, it's like a creamy dressing/spread. It's supposed to be better for you than mayo. I like Hellmans on my sandwiches.

Hellman's, it is real mayonnaise. Miracle Whip is salad dressing, says so right on the bottle.
