I recommend you see a chiropractor as soon as possible. The chiropractor will be able to put the alignment back correctly in your neck. Nothing beats chiropractic treatments for this type of sudden Pain.

ICE ICE ICE- ALternate with HEAT compresses. Being on this site really isn't the answer. You need to lay down and REST. AND call ur Physician in the morning. Also, taking 800 mg. of an anti-inflammatory - motrin/ibuprophen every 6 hours will help with the pain. Take Care and Good Luck!
PS- A frozen bag of veggies does wonders as an ice bag

DO NOT SEE A CHIROPRACTOR! see your regular doctor & ask for an MRI! you may have herniated a disc. the same thing happened to me & I ruptured my cervical 5/6 disc. if I would have gone to a chiropractor I would have made the injury worse!!! I now have to see a spine specialist & I was told that many of their patients were made much worse by chiropractors. you need a real doctor when it comes to your spine, not some nut who likes to "adjust" or "re-align" your spine.....

See a chiropractor or a doctor if you think it's serious.
