PLEASE don't put chemicals on your children. Toxins are bad!
Get some Tee tree oil, and a nit comb, and keep combing until all the little varmints are out.
Yes, definitely change bedding, towels etc.

Use tea tree oil or a lot of conditioner (apparently they can't grip the hair so well if it's covered in conditioner) and comb, comb and comb again. You have to keep doing it for about 7 or 8 days to break the cycle. It is very boring and your kids will probably get fidgety but you must keep it up. If you stop the lice will be able to start the cycle all over again. Good luck.
Do keep changing the pillow cases as well.

Not only should you wash the pillow cases in HOT water, but you should also wash blankets, stuffed animals...anything they may come in contact with. Boil brushes and combs. Take every precaution. If you can't wash toys/stuffed animals, put them in a garbage bag and tie it shut for a week or longer. The lice are becoming more resistant to the lotions/shampoos...read the instructions for how long to leave it on. Good luck...

IT should say on the bottle - each treatment is different if its full marks it's usually 30 miutes - personally I use "Derdac M" on my 3 kids which is an overnight lotion which is vey good and I usually repeat it a week later just to kill any newly hatched eggs, I know they say not to but I treat everyone in the house with lotion - you can guarentee if 1's got them we all have or will, the hols is the best time to treat them - happy holidays - good luck

dont use chemicals!!! they are expensive and can be harmful to your health. if used on very small kids it might even cause brain damage. use shampoo and mayonaise. put shampoo on dry hair, work through hair and down to the scalp, same with the mayonaise. use about a palm full. more if needed. wrap head in plastic wrap and leave on for two hours. rinse hair and pick out the nits. works every time.

you need to change all their bedding, buy new pillows, vacuum bedding, carpets, wash all stuffed animals, clothes, pjs, blankets that they use.........as far as how long you keep the mousse in, it depends on the brand, just follow the directions and good luck.........you also need a nit comb for afterwards to get all the dead nits out of their hair, if you are infested it's really hard sometimes to get rid of them, just dont give up

You should not only wash the pillow cases in hot water, but the entire set of bed clothing, and the pillows too, if washable. If not, you might be treating the kids hair again.

You need to read the directions BEFORE you use that stuff and follow the directions. You need to take all of their bedding off and wash it in super hot water. All combs and brushes should probably be replaced or at least cleaned and disinfected. Any hats they wear need to be washed in super hot water too. Towels they have recently used need to be washed.
