You're going to HAVE to afford it or it very well may be the end of her life as well as the life of the puppies. Take her to the vet! The puppies are probably too large for her to deliver them on her own.
Unfortunately, this will cost you many times over what it would have cost if you would have gotten her spayed.

If she's almost a year old, you had plenty of opportunities, to get her spayed. This is a perfect example of what can happen, if an inexperiened owner, breeds their dogs and doesn't take the proper precautions, to avoid something like this from happening, in the first place. I have bred Chihuahuas for a long time, and have never lost any of the mothers or their litters, I am educated enough to know what the risks are, what to look for, what to do, and how to assist, if a complication like this arises and when it's time to have a vet take over. If you did take her to the vet and he gave her oxytocin and knew the dangerous situation she was in, it really surprises me, that he actually released her, and let her go home with you, and did not keep her there to help her deliver these puppies, knowing she would need help. Not too many vets that I know of, would release a dog if they knew, they were in danger. I wish I could jump through this computer and assist her myself. These puppies are too large for her to pass and if you don't get her, back to the vet and have the c-section done, you will lose her and the puppies, if you haven't already and regret your decision not to take the responsible, proper action to help her, because you did not protect her from this situation in the first place by getting her spayed. I alway's tell people that have no knowledge about breeding, to please have their dog fixed, because it's just to risky and too many things can go wrong, if you don't know exactly what you are doing. There are just to many details involved in the whole process, from pregnancy to delivery. I hope that by the time you get this message, you made the right decision and are already at the vets office getting her help! Poor Baby! She's depending on YOU! I have #10 Chihuahuas of my own, but before I took in my little ones, I made sure, that I was able to properly take care of ALL of them. I have financial obligations too, just like anyone else, but I always make sure all my babies are properly taken care of. I believe, "If there is a will, there is a way!" Because C-Sections are expensive, most vets work out payment plans, so really, there is no excuse to let her suffer and go through this, on her own, without the proper help provided by a vet. It is so unfair, cruel and against the law, if an animal is in need of medical attention, and does not get it. After all this, if you can't get her the help she needs, and I hate to say by now, it's probably already too late, your best option would be to surrender her to your vet, so she can be properly taken care of and hopefully pull through this. ! I honestly, don't mean to be rude, but things like this leave me upset and heartbroken, for the poor animals that are going through this! Keep us posted, if you can! Good Luck!

that green discharge is a VERY BAD sighn, when the discharge turns green its been too long, usually the menbrane has broken down, id expect at least 1 dead puppy still inside that little girls body.
get her to the vet NOW dont just call, TAKE her there, tell the vet very clearly you do not have the money for the c-section but would be willing to make payments or pet insurance or something.
she NEEDS a c-section, NOW, if not this WILL kill her, there is no other way of getting those puppies out of there.
Chihuahuas are highly prone to complications during birth, even experienced breeders can have problems like unexpected c-sections and still born puppies. in this case it sounds like the pups are too big to pass, and if she doesnt go under the knife SOON not only will you loose any puppies but you will loose her too! with a breed like a chihuahuas the difference between life and death can be a meer moment in time!
as i said, a c-section is the only way to get those pups out, PLEASE dont wait any longer, take her to the vet, beg, borrow, offer to clean the kennels untill her surgery is paid off, do whatever you have to.
and while shes under for the c-section have them spay her, it IS safe to spay her while already under for the c-section.

I would imagine he gave her a shot of oxytocin, which basically makes the contractions stronger, and yes it does hurt I've had it myself!!
I'm hoping you already realise this, whilst your dog was in season regardless of what circumstances it happened in you should never of allowed it to happen, or at the very least got her spayed as soon as you realised it had happened.
If your dog needs a caesar, she needs a caesar there is no way round that, having her put to sleep is NOT an option.
If you really can't afford then sign her over to your vets, so they can help your poor dog and they can find mum and pups a home.

The green substance can be meconium, or puppy's poop, and this happens when they lack oxygen, maybe as a result of the oxytocine (the injection) along with the possibility that they are not able to get out of his mommy because her birth cannal is too narrow. I think you should try to take her for a C-section. In case she'd be able to deliver by herself, ask your vet about antibiotics after whelping because it could be important after difficult deliveries where the possibility of infections is high. Some people who don't have acces to C-sections help their dogs putting warm cloths on her tummy.

Take her to the vet. Dying from this will be long and painful for her if you do not get her checked out.
What vet would have given her a shot of oxytocin and then not watched her? Find a different vet.
The pu could be sideways or too big to pass and everything will die if you don't do something NOW!!!
Green only comes after the placenta has separated.
Get her to a vet! Where are you located?

I'm sorry to tell you this, but...
Green discharge IS NOT NORMAL UNLESS a puppy has already been delivered. It's a bad sign. It could be a sign of the placenta seperating, but it's still not something you want to see until AFTER puppy birth.
If those puppies are too big to pass, and you let her labor, you'll lose both mom and babies. Your dog could die, without that c-section.

Got pregnant before you could get her spayed? Dogs are usually spayed between 4 and 6 months, why on earth would you wait so long? A lot of smaller dogs die giving birth because they are so small, or their babies die because of birth complications, if you can't afford a c-section I think you're going to have to look at giving the dog to the humaine society so she can be saved, and please don't get another dog, if you don't have the money/time to get this one spayed, you shouldn't be having animals.

She may very well need a csection. You should have had her spayed even when you did find out she was pregnent, that way it would have aborted the puppies. I would take her back to the vet ASAP. What did she mate with.

I have to believe this is a troll post.
Certainly no human being could be this stupid and ignorant.
I have to think that this kind of a post is done to rile people up.
If this is real.........
Congratulations on killing your dog. (You do not sound like the kind of person who would spend a penny on your dog or you would have spayed her at the right time or as soon as you knew she was pregnant)
Please do the world a favor and promise yourself not to have another pet.
