I've heard various food myths and I'm not sure if this is true not. Anyone know please?

Yes- you burn more calories drinking cold water versus room temperature. Your body burns calories when digesting. The body needs to regulate the temperature of cold water and that burns additional calories. Spicy foods increases your metabolism. I've read many articles and studies on that. Plus, my One A Day Women's vitamins formulated for weight control have cayenne as an ingredient.

It is definitley a myth. Yes, potentially, enough really cold water and spice could do this, but you would have to consume ridiculous amounts and the results are so minor that it's not noticable.

yes it actually does, from what ive heard cold water ur body needs to burn calories to regulate ur body tempurature. but im not sure about spicy foods.

I think its true since there are articles on these stuffs that I read about, plus I'm a spicy food lover and Ive seen that work. Idk about cold water, but my mom says that cold water requires your body to work hard to keep your body warm and it helps cleans your system.
