If I were you I would take him to the vet just to be sure, would be bad if some internal injuries went unnoticed. I would keep that window closed from now on till you can get a secure screen in there.

Cats do fall and even low falls can be harmful. It is best to get him to a vet. Cats do get scared and may even hide or be needy to calm down. Look for things like , If his walk is different. If his personality is the same or different. Is he going to the bathroom and eating properly. all of these things are important as he may have hit his head in the fall and sometimes brain injuries can accour over the next 24 hours. Cats can also be perfectly normal on the day of the fall and not show signs of injury till the next day. So it is best to take your cat to the vets especially if hes experiencing a limpness in his body, to make sure he is ok and to watch him for any changes. I'd rather have a vet bill and a happy cat than a vet bill and no kitty.

The second floor isn't too high for a cat. Of course, this doesn't mean he can't be hurt inside. But he would be showing some signs of pain. I think you should watch him for a day or two. Look if he is active or not. Look if his stools are OK or black. Look if he eats and drinks normally. If he eats less or if he drinks more could be indications of a problem. If you are too worried, you could take him to the vet for Xray or sonogram. But when something liek that happened to my cat, and I took him to the vet, the vet didn't even examine him when he saw that the cat was extra-active against him (he said that he would not be so active after 2 days if he had been hurt)

He's probably just fine. Just keep an eye on him and take him in if he acts differently. You might see if you can find some stronger screens. I know they make pet proof screen material, but I don't know how effective that would be unless you can find a stronger frame that he can't pop out as easily. Good luck to you.

He's a cat and they're known for high they jump etc. So he's okay, believe he will show signs if he isn't, especially if he's been acting the same. But if your still worried you can take him to the vet to get checked out.

He is probably just fine. Cats can take falls like that. They know how to spread out their bodies so as to limit impact. Also possibly a bush broke and softened his fall, but you might want to talk to a vet just for peace of mind.

if your cat doesn't look like its hurt then don't worry.if u check her up and shes not blading or anything -she should be OK.2ND floor is not a big deal for a cat-i think she was more scared then hurt.my cat fall several times from that kind of height and hes still alive.cats are always land on their feet.dint waist your money on vets.

It's better to take him to the vet . You wouldn't want to loose him to suffering if he is hurt internally. Beautiful cat. I have a cat that looks a lot like that one , he has blue eyes so I named him blue. Any way best of luck.

he's pretty look at those baby blues! he is probably just fine, cats just about always land on their feet, which he probably did. if he's acting fine, he probably is, but just kinda watch him the next couple days to be sure he is eating & using his box normally, if he is then no worries.
