you really need to get some medical help quickly.
I have also suffered from depression and found out that as much as you want it to it doesnt just go away it gets worse and worse until you get help.
a doctor will help you alot more than anyone in here and as much as you feel alone you are not.
Good luck.

and in response to whoever answered saying it is a tempoary thing and it can be treated with shopping is wrong this is a serious medical condition and any amount of shopping you do could not make it go away.
Please get facts right before you tell people information which isnt true!!!

Talk to someone. Find a friend to sit down with. Say how you feel, honestly, without leaving out any details. The purpose here is not to have a useful response, but rather to get it off your chest. Don't keep these things bottled up.

Make a change. Make a goal. Having something to look forward to is the best remedy (in essence; hope).

What would be the best help is to try to get a referal to a mental health professional, councelor. Your regular doctor can make a referal if you are unsure of someone to go to. I have been through a few periods of depression, and really its best to go to neutral party since talking to a relative or boyfriend might cause you to hold back something. Often it could just be something in your life that talking with someone can help you out. The best is to go to someone with training in that field who can help you during this difficult time.

Talk to your school counseler, and in your town or city there might be a professional who could help. in the meantime, honey, just be good to yourself. Get your hair done, buy some clothes. I had some depression a year ago, and I just did some of those things and I felt better.
all the best.

Hiya, I know what you are going through.
When I was depressed I went to a doctor and got anti-depressants and took up some new social activities.
If you don't feel comfortable talking to friends, partner or family about it, your doctor can refer you to a psychiatric nurse to talk to instead.

Good Luck!

You need to lighten your load, just don't take anti-depressents it'll make it worse, talk to your family about it and look into some counseling but make sure you have a counsler that you are comfortable.

You can combat depression by doing other activities like shopping, treat yourself to a body massage or facial treatment, have a new hairstyle, etc. It's just a temporary feeling, after your monthly period that state of feeling is also gone.
