i love my boyfriend but sometimes i think the only reason i stay with him is so another girl doesnt come along and take him from under my feet, the thing is he is very overprotective, i mean when we talk on the phone..he asks where are you, who are you with, where are you going, is anyone else gonna show up, any guys there, and sometimes it makes me feel as if he doesnt trust me, and he always has to make a point to tell me not to do anything stupid...and him not trusting me is making me rethink the whole love thing, so what should i do?

It's normal to stay with someone because you don't want to see them with someone else. If you want to stay with an overprotective partner just fill him in as soon as you get on the phone, be like hey whats up, im at the mall with ___, we're just gonna shop around and get something to eat, i'll call you later. Make it so he doesnt have to ask questions.

Move on to a real relationship. When one person is a control freak there is no relationship. The longer you are with him the harder it will be to get rid of him. These things can turn ugly so move on now and find someone who does not have control issues. Some girls think jealousy is a cute trait in guys until they become victims of its ugly side.

Why are you with a guy you don't trust, "your own words about a girl taking him out from under you" and who doesn't trust you? How can you have a healthy, loving relationship if you don't allow each other space?

he has probably been cheated on a few times and is real cautious but being jealous can really be bad on a relationship too...but unless he is really possessive and gets mad when you are doing stuff with others you might want to dump him and find someone that can trust you let you be yourself

He is not overprotective, he is abusive! Those are the beginning signs of an abusive boyfriend.

Break it off with him now and find someone less abusive before he gets worse (and he will).
