Getting help now is the first step in not ending up like your mother. If she actually does have some sort of personality disorder then there is about a 50 % chance that you will have it too. The fact that you are aware that there may be problems is a good sign. You should make an appointment with a psychiatrist to check your mentail health if you are so worried.

Be aware of the things that bother you about your mother's personality. If you find yourself doing those same things, then either work on stopping yourself or get professional help stopping the behaviors. I'll have to tell you the truth. Sometimes people with true personality disorders don't know they have a problem.

if you are afraid you are going to "end up like your mother" then you probably won't.

do whatever it is you think is right in life and take care of yourself.

everyone has symptoms of a personality disorder.. and no one is perfect. i hope that, if your mother needs help or counseling, she will seek it out.

1st of all what makes you think that? do you have friends if so you are fine stop worring you are way to young.
