Before leaving the interview venue, they must have told u on how they will get in touch with you. Well, even if they did, collect someone's number, probably in the Personnel Department. this will aid your subsequent follow-ups.
some do not like people to call them, send a thank you card to the key officer there or even a thank you text message; then relax. what is yours will definitely come to you.
cheers and good luck!!!

Following up on a job is always best and it shows your drive and loyalty from the start. They hire who they want but it is good to stay up to date and check in with your application. It is you that wants the job more then they want to hire so stick your neck out. What do you have to lose?

Do not let the interview without asking which are the next steps and for when they expect to make their desicion. Then wait until that date and call for follow up. It shows that your interest in the job is real.

If it has only been a few days, it is more than appropriate to send a follow up letter, thanking the interviewer for their time and briefly restating how your talents can serve the company.
Good luck

Definitely call them back. If you're terribly shy or something, send them a thank you card for considering your appliction. That will get your name out there one more time.
