Look around you! Do you REALLY think this could have all happened by CHANCE? Because THAT is what evolution is.

Evolution is the obvious choice? Life originated by chance. This can be proven. DNA is very complex but it was created by chance.

Listen, grap a bag of legos and put them in a box, close the box and shake it for an hour and see if two lego peaces have stuck together, if not try it for a month or a year, and you will see that eventually you would have build some sort of something that will eventually evolve on its own and have babie legos. You will be surprised.

The problem though is who made the legos to begin with? Well, legos are made by chance too. if you burn lots of plastic bottles and melt the plastic into a big pan, lego pieces will slowly appear one by one.

But then of course who made the plastic bottle? easy, the plastic was created by rain showering against the rocks and slowly plastic bottles started to appear.

But who made the water? the clouds. who made the clouds? water?

sorry...

Okay, maybe an intelligent designer makes more sense.

Everything require a thought. Any programer can tell you that.

So before there was anything in the universe, there must have been a though.

Creation is the logical choice.

Evolution has never been observed.Evolution is unproven geologically, biologically, and chemically. The evidence in the present does not fit the evolution model, nor does anything else we discover about the past. The high school and college text books sure do make it sound believable though. One cannot think critically if they are only taught one presupposition. There is no academic freedom in the United States any longer. That's why kids sit in their desks at school like zombies. They are not allowed to think for themselves.

Choose the one with evidence. That would be the scientific theory of evolution. Here's a primer that addresses evolution and the faulty arguments of the creationists (who oppose evolution on religious grounds):

There is no "Versus".

Evolution is a process of nature that has been happening on this planet for the past 3.65 billion years.
Creationism is just bed-time stories for children.

Suggesting there is any competition there is like suggesting there could be a competition between an adult male mandrill.... and a ball of clay.

Both are ture and compatible. You cant have one without the other! first spark was caused or created then development or evolution took over!

Why must you have one with out the other??
I believe in evolution but even a scientist will tell you it doesn't disprove God/s. It only disproves the literalism of Genesis. Big difference.

Depends. Do you want to be in line with the discoveries of 150 years' work by biologists and all other bio-scientists, or would you prefer a comforting load of crap instead?

your question proves that you need more help than you can find over the internet on answers. this is a decision that takes years for many people to make.

dont be so insecure. learn to feel comfortable answering questions with "i dont know" or "i haven't decided what i believe on that". enjoy your spiritual journey instead of rushing to claim someone else's philosophy as your own.
