Your camera should come with a USB cable which allows you to transfer your files onto your computer. If not, some computers allow you to directly insert your memory to your computer.

Option 1:
Find the usb cable that came with your camera , use it to connect your camera to your computer. If your computer is running, a window will pop up asking you where to copy the contents of your camera.. yes, that easy .. just follow the instructions!
Option 2:
take the memory card ( SD , CF whatever you have in your camera) , find or buy a card reader from the market. Connect the card reader to your computer. Follow the steps as in option 1! almost as easy!
Option 3:
Check around for someone who knows how to do this and get him to help you do this!! This is the easiest way, once you find that person ;-)

Most cameras have a program which came with it which helps you to view and download pics from the camera to the computer.
If you do not have that installed, you may be able to download the program from the manufacturer's website.
In addition, many USB Digital cameras will show up in Windows XP as another Hard drive. Plug inthe cord and see if it shows up as "New hardware". Allow Windows to install what is necessary and thensee if the disk is accessible to copy pics over to your C Drive. (You may need to assign a new drive letter to your camera for Windows to work with it properly.)

Plug your camera into the computer through the USB port. Usually an autorun program will come up asking you if you want to run whatever you plugged in. If it does (see below if it does not), click "open using windows explorer" and then you can copy pictures by right clicking them and pasting them to the desired folder on your computer.
if it does not come up, then right click on the start icon in the bottom left corner and choose explore. Go to Desktop, then computer (or my computer, whatever it is called) and then you will find the different "drives." do not choose drive c or d. if your camera is the only thing you have plugged into the computer it SHOULD be drive (f). then you can open it and copy the files.
I hope this solves your problem.

It is hard to say not know just what kind of camera you have, but the camera should have come with a cord that will connect your camera to your computer. It most likely have come with a cd that would enable you to download your pictures straight into your computer.

it is rather unlikely that a deadly disease designed to wreck a pc working equipment like residing house windows would harm a digicam. despite if, your digicam would become a "provider" for the virus. Flash memory, the two outfitted into the digicam, or in a memory card can keep particular viruses and delivery them from laptop to laptop. even however your digicam isn't directed harmed, it might nevertheless be a great concept to run an entire laptop virus test before copying something.

Use the USB Cable (comes free with any digicam) to connect the cam to pc. Use Windows Default Pict Viewer or any other 3rd party viewer s/w. Choose the picts you want to transfer and then transfer.
Else you can remove the Memory card from your cam, put it into a card reader, connect the card reader to your pc and transfer your pics.
The simplest solution is- take your cam to any photo shop, they can copy all of the picts from the cam to a CD, with a little cost.
So, create a CD of your picts and copy them from the cd to pc.
