I have an Epson EMP-TW100 projector, it's getting a bit old now maybe 5 years. Lately I'm sure it's getting noisier and its obviously fan noise.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Is it a replace the fan deal (is that possible?) or would oiling it help?

What do you think?

Replacing the fan is probably pretty easy, but finding a fan for that model is where you may struggle.

I tried both the Epson website as well as projector central and that model# isn't even listed.

It may be time to get a new one and step up to HD. There's some pretty good deals out there right now.

oil would help. or get a new fan. either way you have to disassemble. newegg.com, has many fans. check for size/voltage and DB.
ps, the bearing is usually under the fan label.
