How can you tell if a guy really likes you or if he' s just flirting?

Ok, so there's this really cute and popular guy who was always flirting with me; and I thought he was interested in me; but then I saw him at a party and I tried to get his attention, but he just brushed me off and then spend the whole night with another girl and they hooked up and I was really hurt because I thought he liked me. I asked my friend why he was leading me on and she said it's because guys are just flirtacious. So how do I know when a guy is just flirting or if he really likes me?

Try to observe how he interacts with other girls. Is he flirtacious to them, too? If he is, then he's probably just a flirt.

I think most guys would say straight up, myself included, but I remember this one girl that for 2 years we flirted back and forth. When we finally hooked up and it was amazing. The passion that was created was unbelievable. We kinda had a relationship after that, but we both had a lot of stuff going on and it didn't work out. I still think about that girl all the time and for the most part I dont think about the others like I do her. I see her every now and then (6 months or so) and when we see each other you can still feel that chemistry. I have never had it before or since.

a guy will almost always go for the girl who is most likely to put out. Its a sad story but most often true. Chances are he was playing the both of you and the other girl seemed more eager to get in the sack.

Ill put money down that he comes back to you to try to get something going because he already had the other girl.

Obviously u expect maturity out of high school boys,---PLEASE! You can take from it that he found u hot till the next babe arrived. Anyway, if u want choices in your life---develop ur self, get a real education plan and worry about men later. You'll be way ahead.
