If you wanna know my opinion, the most absurd part is that Christians say God allowed Satan to stay and torment/manipulate the human race, rather than destroying him in the wake of his rebellion...why? To show Satan that his people will stay loyal and not break their bond with him for the pleasures of materialism and sin. Okay, that's great...so he's gonna show Satan that he's the universal sovereign...then what's he gonna do?
Kill him.
Okay, so God allows a demon to drive people to insanity, murder, temptation, etc. because he wants to prove a point to someone he's gonna slay in the end anyways?? when he has all the power in existence to end this bullcrap right off the bat? The whole concept/foundation of Christianity is absurd to me. I don't buy into it for a second

Personally, I think the most absurd thing is that the entire religion falls completely apart without the book of Genesis as a starting point.
And Genesis has been proven to be completely false, not to mention plagiarized.
With this in mind, what I truly find absurd is people that realize this, but still call themselves Christians. That is intellectual dishonesty, and/or spiritual laziness. They would rather not consider the obvious ramifications of Genesis being false, because they like the warm fuzzies of the rest of the religion.

The most absurd part of any religion, imho, is the fact that each believer of every religion under the sun . . .
. . . Most religious people believe they're 'God's' chosen ones. If they believe the 'word of God', which are words of men to men, then that means they've been specially selected for heavenly rewards.
Imagine every member of the world's three main religions being indoctrinated to believe if they keep being faithful to the religion indoctrinating them, and win souls to it, they'll have even better heavenly rewards.
When heavenly rewards are more important than being intelligent and aware of how your words and actions, as well as your beliefs, affect others, that's absurd. When religion pulls you away from what your heart would naturally sway you to do or not to do, then you're in bondage to someone else's 'God.'

I think the most absurd part in Christianity is that God is almighty and having power over everything but he created Satan and he cannot stop the evil around the world because God work in mysterious matters. What mysterious matters?! it is all crap.

To see how far down the tubes the entire Religion & Spirituality section has gone is sad. Its no longer Christians or other religoins and Atheist discussing Spirituality openly. Its now a "I am smarter than you and you beliefs/non beliefs therefor your a moron" message board. So at the end of the day, no one has changed their beliefs based on what they read on here and instead give each other thumbs up for spreading the hate.

I think that everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but in my opinion, I think that no sex before marriage, even if you're doing it with someone you love more than life itself is rediculous, especially if you know you're going to marry them anyway. I also think that the idea of creationism is rediculous when you look at all the evidence supporting evolution, and no evidence except the Bible going for creationism.

They 'normalize' number pi to equal 3.
2Chronicles 4:2 reads thus, “Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.”

The idea of a theistic God is ludicrous to me. Coupled with the OT depictions of him the whole concept seems quite absurd.

The most absurd thing about Christianity is that we must be consistently mocked by every two-bit wiener with some sort of problem. (nothing personal)
